Agent-first DeepSeek Harness plugin intelligence: verify existing plugins, identify missing capabilities, and
DSH Landscape is a read-only capability preflight for DeepSeek Harness: describe one intended change in natural language and receive an evidence-backed decision before you install, replace, upgrade, compose, or build. Landscape queries public GitHub metadata and manifest evidence to answer questions like: 'Should I install browser automation, or is it already covered?', 'Compare the GitHub integrations that could fit this DSH setup', 'Can I replace my current search plugin without losing capabilities?', 'Before we build a Linear integration, show what not to duplicate'. For each query it returns: relevant DSH plugins and portable capabilities with real evidence (stars, manifests, install commands, categories), placeholders/prototypes separated from installable/tested projects, and one direct action: USE, INSTALL, COMPOSE, EXTEND, BUILD, WAIT, DISABLE, or INVESTIGATE. The native tool is dsh_landscape. As a plugin it is always available in session without manual invocation; the agent can call it before any plugin-related decision. Landscape is advisory only — it never mutates DSH state.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:cyanseek/dsh-landscape#2d3570aadbbd291dbfc58e2484e287bd14fa92e0Install the pinned, reproducible DSH bundle: dsh plugin --profile web add github:cyanseek/dsh-landscape#2d3570aadbbd291dbfc58e2484e287bd14fa92e0 (change --profile web to your existing profile name). The native tool is named dsh_landscape; Landscape itself needs no profile path or additional settings. For one-off use without permanent installation: npx -y github:cyanseek/dsh-landscape 'Should I install browser automation?' or npx -y github:cyanseek/dsh-landscape find 'browser automation'. Portable Skill install (for Codex or other agents): npx -y skills add cyanseek/dsh-landscape --skill dsh-landscape -g -a codex -y. Node.js 22+ required; no runtime dependencies; the package does not advertise npm publication — use the GitHub source commands above.
Compatibility

FAQ
- Does Landscape install or modify anything?
- No — Landscape is read-only advisory. It does not install, enable, disable, upgrade, uninstall, edit a profile, or create a repository. Its output is a recommendation, not a mutation.
- What action types does it return?
- One of eight: USE (already present), INSTALL (exists and installable), COMPOSE (combine multiple), EXTEND (build on existing), BUILD (no match, create from scratch), WAIT (exists but not stable), DISABLE (currently enabled but recommended off), or INVESTIGATE (conflicting evidence).
- Can it discover private or local plugins?
- No — Landscape scans public GitHub and npm only. Private repos, local packages, and unlisted projects are outside its discovery scope.
