An autonomous terminal coding agent built directly on the DeepSeek Harness, whose /ship command turns a one-sentence idea into verified code through a 7-stage pipeline with a live task-flow panorama.

codsh is an autonomous terminal coding agent for DeepSeek (and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint) built directly on the DeepSeek Harness. Its flagship /ship command turns a one-sentence idea into fully verified code through a 7-stage engineering pipeline: pre-flight (isolated ship/<slug> branch), Wayfinder, an interactive Grill design interview with recommended defaults, a Spec gate, a Tickets gate that decomposes work into a dependency DAG, parallel Git-worktree landing with TDD and CI, and a final verification/merge. A live task-flow panorama shows ticket counts and in-flight worktrees in the terminal, a Ctrl+G ASCII DAG overlay, and a local React Flow webpage. Merge conflicts (including lockfiles and renames) are resolved autonomously by agent sub-tasks, and Ctrl+C safely pauses coordination while a bare /ship resumes unfinished work.

Install

dsh plugin --profile code add codsh-bundle

Copied verbatim from the README's DSH-plugin install line (into a code profile). The README's terminal installer is npm install -g @deepseek-ai/dsh codsh-cli, and the command is codsh.

Compatibility

Built directly on the DeepSeek Harness (dsh) — the README stresses it is not a fork. Works with DeepSeek and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint; the terminal installer sets DEEPSEEK_API_KEY.
