Added cross-platform file dragging and original path insertion capabilities to DSH Web UI without copying files
dsh-drag-and-drop lets you drag local files or folders onto any part of the DSH Web page and inserts their original absolute filesystem paths into the current conversation input — without uploading, moving, or copying anything. This closes the gap where a browser normally exposes only a local file URI (or nothing) for security, while DSH tools operate on real paths: dropping a file gives the agent the actual path so its read/run/patch tools work against the real file and its neighboring dependencies.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:omdsh-dev/dsh-drag-and-dropInstall with dsh plugin --profile web add github:omdsh-dev/dsh-drag-and-drop. The plugin is a DSH Web UI plugin (release v0.1.6, BSD-3-Clause, Node.js ^20 | >=22) that converts a dropped file's browser-local URI into the real absolute filesystem path on the machine running DSH.
Compatibility
DSH Web profile (cordis.patch.yml declares DSH Web). Resolves dropped paths through the current Workspace, registered Workspaces, the OS file index, and a bounded directory search when the browser hides the path entirely.
